A big 'Thank You' to everybody for helping us get the quilt shop off the ground. When we opened up last month, Mark and I didn't know what to expect. We were happily suprised when quilters began to find our little store and we can't wait to see where 2012 will take us.
You can help us spread the word about our store by sharing and following our webpage, blog, youtube channel (check for video tutorials) and facebook page.

Hennig House will host two monthly clubs starting in February--a wool club (led by Connie MacKay) and a redwork club (led by Shirly Hart). Both of these clubs are open to all skill levels. Bring a project of your choice and join us for a morning of sewing. More detailed information about both clubs is on the Hennig House website.
These clubs are absolutely FREE to join. Connie, Shirely and I feel passionately about sharing our love of stitchery and hope you will come be a part of our club. Although drop in's are always welcome, we'd like to know who is coming so we can better prepare. Please call Kim at the store (252-0045) to save a spot.

I've never taught a beginning quilting class before and I'm looking for 4 or 5 guinea pigs to practice on. If you know of anyone who is a complete BEGINNER--from never held a rotary cutter, to tried to follow a pattern once but gave up--AND they're interested in learning to quilt, please give them my information. I would hold classes on either Fri, Sat, or Sun evenings depending on what time would work best for the group. Since this is a learning experience for me too, the only thing I'm asking of participants is that they buy fabric for the small beginner project we'll be working on at Hennig House and that try their best to make it to each class. -Kim ( kimgaddy@sbcglobal.net and 252-0045)
