Hennig House Quilt Show Saturday, April 28th, 9am - 4pm!
The Saturday Morning Quilters and Kim from Hennig House invite you to our first ever outdoor Quilt Show. This is a casual, non-juried show . . . think of it as one big 'show and tell' for all of us who quilt or appreciate quilts. We hope you'll stop buy during the day to see all the lovely quilts and share a drink of lemonade with us on the porch.
If you'd like to show a quilt at our first ever quilt show here's what to do: Bring your quilt to Hennig House during business hours any time before April 27th. Securely safety pin your name and contact information to your quilt. We will hang the quilts Saturday morning beginning around 7am and take them down beginning at 4 pm. You may pick up your quilts at the end of the show or at Hennig House the following week. (Please note that this is an OUTDOOR show.) Also-- we especially need some SMALL WALLHANGING size quilts as we have plenty of 'fence space' to display quilts.

If you'd like to help out, I've got a couple of volunteer opportunities. If you feel comfortable up on a ladder, I'd love some help hanging quilts early Saturday morning. If you'd rather stay on the ground, I could also use some refreshment table help. If you don't have much time on Saturday morning, but would like to help us advertise you can pick up some fliers at the shop. If you have any questions, call me at the shop or email me at kimgaddy@sbcglobal.net
THANKS! THANKS! THANKS! -Kim
(BTW isn't that a lovely quilt made by Connie McKay (above)? It's from a Bit's 'n Pieces pattern. Quilt kits will be available soon. Thanks, Connie!)

Class & Club notes:
Beginner's Classes: I've had a great time teaching the beginner's class this past month, and can't believe that THIS Saturday is our LAST class. It's been fun, y'all! We'll have another class starting in the summer sometime.
Coming Soon - Jennifer Knight will be teaching a darling Snowman Table Runner in July. She'll have a Saturday morning session and a Tuesday evening session.
Our clubs are going strong, but there's always room for more. Check out our schedule online for embroidery/redwork, wool, applique and punch needle club meeting days and times.
